Administrative Support Team

The Administrative Support Team is comprised of the Executive Assistant, the Receptionist Office Assistant and Program Administrative Assistants.

The Executive Assistant leads the team by providing direct supervision and ensuring quality and professional support is provided. The Executive Assistant is a member of the management committee and provides highly sensitive support to the Executive Director, the Director of Community Services, the Executive Council (NEC) the Board of Chiefs (BOC) and the Elder Advisory Council.

The Program Administrative Assistants support the Program Leads in the Community Services and Public Health Units with a variety of administrative functions. Although they are assigned to work within specific program areas, a team approach is taken to allow for backfilling and the continuity of services. The team understands the program objectives and standards and applies the relevant legislation, policies and procedures to all activities.

The Receptionist Office Assistant performs as the effective and professional first point of contact. This position acts as the face and voice of the organization by taking calls and greeting drop-ins and referring inquiries as appropriate. This position also provides office and technical support to other administrative and program staff as required.

The Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority Inc. believes in investing in our employees and as part of the Administrative Supports annual action plan we support and encourage participation in group training and individual professional development opportunities to enhance their professional skills and promote personal growth.
